Use Homemade All Purpose Cleaners – Really all you need to clean nearly every part of your house is some white vinegar and some baking soda. One suggested formula for an all purpose cleaner includes ½ a cup of vinegar with ¼ of a cup of baking soda, mixed together in a ½ gallon of water and store in a container. Everything!

We have recently started making our own powdered laundry soap with three simple ingredients– Fels Naptha , washing soda, and borax. My husband and I cook a lot and often have leftovers. We bought some plastic leftover containers, but those frequently cracked or broke. Make your own laundry soap.

of Baking Soda. Whisk together flour baking soda, salt, and shredded coconut in a bowl. Drizzle chocolate over cookies and sprinkle with leftover coconut. A couple of notes to keep in mind: I keep a moderately stocked freezer with marked down meat , loss leaders , batch pre-cooked meat , cooked beans , homemade baked goods and sauces. Soda or any form of drinks (outside of coffee and tea bags) are rarely on my grocery list. Lunches Included: leftovers. So refreshing.

Institute a 'Raid the Fridge' Night One night a week, raid the fridge to get rid of leftovers. Set the leftovers up buffet style. Everyone's plate might look different, but you'll at least use up the leftovers and reduce the waste. Utilize the Freezer Freeze those leftovers. We rarely buy sodas or other sugary drinks.

My family regularly requests my black bean brownies , but today I decided to change them up and add some leftover pumpkin puree I saved from Thanksgiving. 1 cup pumpkin puree.

Using just bi-carb soda and vinegar there are a range of things you can do from cleaning the bathroom right through to the oven. 2.) So instead of menu planning, buying what we need and eating it, we are buying what we feel like, cooking too much and throwing away the rest instead of eating the leftovers.
