I don’t freeze food in the used bags, but do use them for leftovers in the frig. We reuse both kinds of items for replacement parts, crafts and etc. If you want to get fancy, draw, paint or sew buttons on it for eyes. Years ago my Dad made a screw driver holder to help us organize our growing collection of screw drivers.

We rented the scaffolding for $50 from Menards so I could finish this massive painting project. Growing up we tended to be a paycheck-to-paycheck family. Fancy restaurant food. I’d send some to my nieces to help with their college expenses and would donate half to our local food pantry. I work out 4-5 days a week.

I re-purpose them by painting the outsides white using ordinary acrylic wall paint and a brush. (I I paint them all white to create a more uniform look.) The paint is usually left over from home projects or from cans of mistake-paint bought from the hardware store for a dollar or two (or less).
