You’re getting a little something back for gas you needed anyway, so it just makes sense to take advantage of these programs, which are usually free. Use cruise control on highways – with caution.

Use your car’s cruise control option at a speed of 60 miles per hour or less to increase gas mileage. It has never been easier to find the lowest gas prices. Downloading a free app could save you hundreds of dollars over the course of your car’s lifetime. For the rest of you, keep gasoline usage in mind.

I had a conference in Dallas a few weeks ago and they wanted me to check out the amazing gas mileage in the Mazda 3i. I drive a gas-guzzling mom mobile, a mid-size 8-seat SUV that costs more than $65 to fill up. If you are looking for a gas sipper, this car is really incredible. And let me tell you it was AMAZING!
