Sunday : My oldest daughter had a swim meet all afternoon, so my husband treated us to dinner at our favorite deli. My plan was to put half of the seasoned taco meat in the freezer, but the kids liked the tacos so much that ate them throughout the week for their afternoon snacks. This Week’s Dinner: Saturday: Both of my kids were not feeling well and not very hungry, so thankfully we had enough leftovers from the previous week. Monday : Leftover Red & White Chicken Chili that was in the freezer. I made it about a month ago and we didn’t finish the leftovers, so I stored in the freezer.

This Week’s Dinners: Saturday: We went out to dinner to celebrate my youngest daughter’s birthday. Sunday: We had 10 elementary aged kids over for my daughter’s birthday party. Wednesday: Last week, I baked a spiral ham that I bought on sale before Easter. I ordered pizza. It turned out pretty tasty.

Sunday: leftover lasagna (from Friday night), garden salad, and cheap, but tasty garlic homemade. I bought another type of white fish that was on sale, but I don’t remember what kind. One of our daughters has had reactions to tilapia, so I stopped buying it. Every week I share what we ate for the week on our budget.

Actually I live on $30 a week and I have a family of four – a dog and my kids do activities. My daughter does competitive cheerleading and that itself is $3K a year (not including travel).
