Our daughter is 24 and was adopted from Eastern Europe when she was one week short of a year old. Our mom stayed home to raise us kids; she went to work part-time in the local school system after both my brother and I were in school. I’m Mary, and it’s a pleasure to participate in Kristen’s Meet a Reader series.
