Make a dollar store fallscape. Buy a colorful red, orange, or gold runner at your local dollar store as well as a few faux pumpkins or gourds. Arrange the objects on your dining room table and voila, you have a lovely and warm fallscape! It is so cheap, usually $1 for a big bag at your local dollar store.

My area of modification is my side table in my dining room. Use paint on an old item and make it new. Paint it a color you love but have been afraid to use in your house. Look at the dollar store or craft stores for inexpensive items to give an additional “POW&# to your area.
