You cook dinner and then there are dirty dishes, pots, and pans. You put your shoes on the rack in a tidy manner. There are actually three paint cans on my counters in this photo. It is just impossible to keep things impeccably tidy all the time! People wear clothes and then dirty laundry accumulates. That’s all me.

6 – Eat dinner at home. Dinner time can be stressful for everyone. I love a pedicure too, but if you’re trying to save money, try to paint your piggies yourself. Have you ever bought a pair of shoes that looked really cute in the store, but ended up sitting in your closet? Who wants to cook after a long day!

Thursday night was their rehearsal dinner… I couldn’t take many pictures because my camera died (I am so sorry), but I did manage to get an outfit shot before its untimely demise. Since the color of the dress is so electrifying I wanted to tone it down a little with neutral shoes, the beige/gray blazer and simple jewelry. Yay for them!

My hobbies range from reading to painting, pen-and-ink drawing, cooking/baking, and writing. He loved it, although his mother asked him at the rehearsal dinner if he shouldn’t go get a haircut! ? Splurges: Shoes, books and art supplies. And art supplies: I like to paint and draw, so every now and then I splash out.
