I have a grandmother who would never dream of buying containers to store leftovers or food for the freezer. She has always reused food containers, such as glass pickle jars or plastic cool-whip and sherbert containers, so I am not quite sure how or why I got started buying plastic food storage containers. It seemed a bit wasteful.

Am I Frugal – or Cheap?

I won’t run the dishwasher unless it is completely full. It typically takes us three days to fill the dishwasher. Even though we rinse the stuff prior to loading it in the dishwasher, it does sit in there for several days. I wash and reuse freezer bags. Cheap or frugal? There are just two of us at home now.
