Recycling is great for the environment and we should all be doing it (in spite of my title), but reusing is even better. When you can reuse or re-purpose an item, you are not only saving it from the landfills, but you are also saving the expense and energy which would have been expended when you recycle. Sometimes we need to find extra funds when big bills are due but often it is needed just to make ends meet. You might uncover some garments that have seen better days and should probably have been recycled some time ago. Anything you now longer want that is still wearable and in reasonable condition can be donated to thrift stores.

I started this site as a way of meeting some new people and having some interesting conversations and it has transformed into something much more than that.
