There wasn’t a restaurant on every corner and people didn’t eat out much. Out of season produce, if available at all, was super expensive. Gasoline stations did not serve food, have coffee or provide bath rooms. Most cars did not have radios, non had any other kind of electronics. My radio was AM only.
