Plastic grocery bags can be irritating and useful all at the same time. These days most grocery stores no longer offer paper sacks, and if you have forgotten your reusable bags, you are probably going to go home with anywhere from one to two dozen little plastic sacks. If you hate waste, then these bags probably drive you nuts.

Create a meal plan for the week, and base your grocery shopping list on what you will actually eat during the week. Turn old towels into bags that can be taken to the grocery store. Before you get rid of items that are still in usable condition, consider trying to sell them, or give them to a thrift store.

Most food at the grocery store came from the USA. The only discount store was the 5 and dime aka ‘the dime store’ It did not sell food (except 1 penny candies). Most cars did not have radios, non had any other kind of electronics. Most people were thin. Cars did not park themselves. Go Frugal'
