While in Los Angeles last summer, we decided to spend half a day exploring the city before moving from our hotel at Universal Hollywood to our one in Anaheim. She went from playing vaudeville with her family to moving to Los Angeles and becoming the first Black actor to win a competitive Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.

In all fairness, I should also point out that my family lives less than an hour from Disney, so we go once a year to see them anyway. Tuna/cracker snack packs, healthy snacks, nuts, etc… – There are a couple of hotels we like to stop at, and both have free breakfast buffets (one even has free evening appetizers).
