My family does! One of our most favorite camping trips is to Avalon Campground in New Jersey. Avalon Campground is family friendly, full of amenities, and very close to the beach. It is also very close to the Cape May Zoo where the admittance is FREE. Love to camp? This year, we discovered a gem of a beach.

Over the Memorial Day weekend, we headed to the Big Apple to see a Broadway show with my daughters’ Girl Scout troop and their families. We’ve taken the girls to New York City before for a day trip to Central Park’s Zoo, but this was a weekend trip and my girls were beyond excited to see their first Broadway show.

And now my husband, who is also from PA, and I have settled in central PA to raise our family.
