Grocery spending can get out of hand quickly, so I post our weekly menu to ensure that I am planning it weekly. Our monthly grocery budget for my family of 4 is $500. It’s a tight budget and I failed miserably recently, but we have lots of financial goals, so I need to get it back in line. Wednesday: leftover night.

But we have some serious financial goals to hit and the grocery budget is an easy target when it comes to cutting the budget. Our grocery budget since January has been $450 , which is down from an average of $600 last year, but I wanted to see if I could get it to $400 for March. Lunches Included: leftovers.
