Back when I was engaged and living on my own for the first time (I lived with my parents while in grad school to save on rent), I went to the library a lot and found a copy of the Tightwad Gazette. I mentioned it to my fiance and he asked me to please cut his hair for him, using the article as a guide! We rent now and are much happier.

My interest in frugality is less about saving money specifically, and more about making good use of the resources I have. Making good use of the resources I have – not only money, but my health, physical abilities, skills, etc. I love winter – trees on my favorite trail 4. By age 2, she was walking 4-6 miles per day.
