Not bashing dinner-and-a-movie (because that is super fun too), but spending all day riding attractions, watching parades and fireworks, and eating Disney goodies is about as good as dating can get! Grab a blanket and watch a movie under the stars together. Have a drink at one of the many hotel lounges on property. Ride rides!!

I learned to save money by watching my parents. (I My biggest financial regret is the amount of money we spent on restaurant meals from the time we were married and both working full time to when we had kids. I enjoy good food even though I don’t like to cook it – maybe especially because I don’t like to cook it.

Limiting waste is what really drives most of the habits I have that would qualify as “frugal” – reducing/eliminating food waste, returning unneeded items, pursuing refunds, checking on warranties, repairing things, etc. For me, being in the kitchen and making food for people is an act of love.
