Growing up in the fifties made me everlastingly grateful for a number of things, such as hot running water, central air conditioning, automatic dishwashers, TV remote control, the internet, personal computers (typewriters really sucked – no backspacing!) Food/shopping. Fast food was rare. People cooked and ate at home.

Control Your Bagworms – Economically and Organically

From May through August or early September, those larvae are feeding, growing and enlarging their bags as they grow. If they manage to strip all the leaves off the tree they stared with, the larvae drop off the tree and crawl to another to get food. You will see signs of leaf damage and perhaps dying trees.
