When my brother and I were growing up, our parents didn’t have much discretionary income. When they got married, they bought a duplex so that the rent money from the tenant in the upstairs apartment would pay the mortgage. I enjoy good food even though I don’t like to cook it – maybe especially because I don’t like to cook it.
