What’s the “why” behind your money-saving efforts? Being frugal allows me to stay at home with our little ones, which was always a goal of mine, and my husband has been very supportive of that. What’s your best frugal win? I would probably add it to our savings account for house projects.

A third “why” is that saving money is like a game to me. I enjoy playing the game and I like to win. What’s your best frugal win? A lot of blood, sweat, and tears were shed here, but we both agree that having no mortgage gave us a serious leg up on our retirement savings and other financial goals.
