In families with just a few cousins/grandchildren, I can see it working out, but not with 17 cousins/grandchildren. As far as Christmas stuff I do now…well, last Christmas and this Christmas, I’m in single mom and full-time college student mode.

And I now have 2 wonderful grandchildren to love as well. In retrospect I felt that I had lost an important time of my life – the college years. The time when you learn to drink beer and coffee, pull all-nighters, meet lots of new and different people, some who may become your friends for life.
