My mom cut coupons and sewed her own clothes and mine, as well. When they got married, they bought a duplex so that the rent money from the tenant in the upstairs apartment would pay the mortgage. A third “why” is that saving money is like a game to me. I enjoy playing the game and I like to win. Made me proud!
