Wouldn’t it be great if you could have a positive impact on the world around you and save some money at the same time? Buying in bulk reduces the amount of packaging that is needed for a product. Buying 1000 rolls of toilet paper in a pack is a whole lot more environmentally friendly than buying 250 packages of those small four packs.

I used an old seat cushion I had and wrapped it with brand new material from another garage sale to pretty it up and make it softer, then stacked new throw pillows I found at yet another sale for $.50

I’m reading it to my Grand-kids this year in Grandma Rie’s Money Camp and needed an activity to go with it. If I can create a board game, so can you, and you don’t have to spend a ton of money to do it. You might save money (but not time!). You have to work through the mechanics of the game.

Maybe it is just something you found at a sale that doesn’t quite match your decor. Upholstery work is expensive and hard, but if you do tackle it yourself, you can save big bucks. Along the way, on one of my garage sale shopping expeditions, I stumbled across a matched pair of wing backs (non-reclining) for $20 each.
