Garage sale and thrift store furniture bargains abound. However, there are ways to safely and beautifully reuse/restore items such as beds, sofas, chairs and decorative pillows. The toy ice cream table and chairs from my Mom’s childhood have an iron frame, which I stripped and spray painted. Ways to save on furniture.

Below is a list of things I (or hubby) have personally saved and reused. Empty coffee cans are great for holding paint or turpentine or bacon grease. Shopping bags are reused as carry alls for gifts and travel needs. Decorated bags (such as those you put gifts in) are just reused for gift giving. Containers.
