Growing up in the fifties made me everlastingly grateful for a number of things, such as hot running water, central air conditioning, automatic dishwashers, TV remote control, the internet, personal computers (typewriters really sucked – no backspacing!) Gasoline stations did not serve food, have coffee or provide bath rooms.

Should YOU Buy a Boat?

There are boat shows, boats at Cabella’s, boat manufacturers and lots of people whose main recreation is ‘going to the lake’ My growing up family were definitely land lubbers. Although we live in the Midwest US, every weekend (and weekday during summer months) we see folks in their pickups hauling boats on trailers.
