Her health care is via the Veteran’s Administration as she has no health insurance. Find services providing psychological counseling to help get your life back on track. A car will allow you to keep more stuff, give you some privacy and provide a place for you to sleep if needed. Get some transportation.

Hubby is one of those lucky few that actually has a pretty safe pension – one that also comes with health plans (which cover me as well) – so calculating his was easy. Health insurance is a bit more pricy than when employed, but less than a lot of other people pay. We didn’t count on the psychological effect on me though.
