I saw that you don’t exchange Christmas gifts with nieces and nephews on your side. What did Christmas and birthday gifts for nieces and nephews look like when they were young? Did you give gifts to them when they were little and then stop at a certain point? I’ve gotten to the point that I really dread Christmas.

I realize not everyone has family heirlooms to give away, but my grandmother was downsizing and gifted her grandchildren pieces from her Fostoria Glass collection that were my grandparents’ wedding gifts back in 1945. My aunt gifts her nieces and nephews with loaves of homemade cinnamon bread every Christmas. Family Heirlooms.
