We spoiled our children and we apparently are even more intent on doing so with our grandchildren! They rarely gave us toys or money. My parents were somewhat more interactive with their grandchildren (my kids). They drove the 200 mile trip on holidays and birthdays to celebrate with us. They tolerated our presence.

There’s outside pressure during Christmas to spend lavishly only to have the recipient not really like the gift or even use it. My aunt gifts her nieces and nephews with loaves of homemade cinnamon bread every Christmas. Are you a knitter, crafter or do you know how to use a sewing machine? Baked Goods. Homemade Crafts.

The great thing about e-coupons is that you can still use manufacturers' coupons and the money saved with the e-coupon goes directly into your Upromise account. Upromise transfers it automatically for us each quarter so we don't have to think about that either. I load them all just in case I decide to buy something.
