My mother grew up on a farm, and from her accounts my grandmother and grandfather (who also was a foreman at the local glass factory, along with being an independent farmer) were frugal, and sometimes times were tight. We always find free/inexpensive things to do on our trips, if we can. Not at all. If we want it, let’s buy it.
