It does double duty in that it gives your child a place to rest their head and cuddle something while in the car and also makes wearing a seat belt a lot more comfortable! The family that we “adopted” was a grandmother (I will call her Tanya, but not her real name) and her 3 grandkids. I helped Tanya unpack our food boxes and reviewed with her what we brought. The kids were outside playing, unsuspecting that someone was dropping off holiday gifts.

In my family we make Christmas lists. My Grandparents have lots of kids and even more grandkids. I was compensated for this post.This post was not reviewed or edited by Plastic Jungle. As I prepared to hold a Money Camp for my young grandchildren last year, I researched various educational standards to review what kids can learn at various ages. Know that money is limited and people need to make choices between things. Make change. My grandkids were 6 and 3 and they really got into this!

Before retiring I often wondered about life after retirement – would we have enough money , would it change our marriage, would the kids and grandkids have different expectations, what if catastrophe struck and money became an issue, what would I do, would I miss the daily interaction with the people with whom I worked for many years?
