The Grandkids are 9 and 12 now with lots of time before they have to start supporting themselves somehow. Dr. John Krumboltz, Professor of Educational Psychology at Standford University studies how people choose careers. I majored in Psychology (liberal arts), graduating in the early 70’s.

She is soon to be 92 years old and uses her position as the family matriarch to teach the rest of us to be grateful. From my Mother-in-laws perspective, the number one benefit to the great-grandkids of sending her a thank you note, is that she would continue to send them gifts. With age, sometimes comes wisdom.
