We’ve taken the girls to New York City before for a day trip to Central Park’s Zoo, but this was a weekend trip and my girls were beyond excited to see their first Broadway show. We left on Friday night and stayed at a hotel in New Jersey and took a bus into the city on Saturday morning.

One of our most favorite camping trips is to Avalon Campground in New Jersey. They keep the bathhouses somewhat clean, but it is a campground, not a high end hotel. It is also very close to the Cape May Zoo where the admittance is FREE. Love to camp? My family does! We tend to stick to Avalon and Stone Harbor beaches.
