When they got married, they bought a duplex so that the rent money from the tenant in the upstairs apartment would pay the mortgage. Now I wish those dollars had gone into our savings accounts. Campsites are cheaper than hotel rooms, and because we can carry our own food with us, we don’t spend as much on restaurant meals.
