My niece goes to Goodwill and buys what I can only describe as bags of junk, and she makes a full-time income selling it on eBay. Pack your lunch, and focus on inexpensive meals like sandwiches and leftovers. Everyone in my family loves leftovers, so this one is easy for us! Most leftovers can easily be turned into an egg bake.

I got some bows for my niece, her hair is now long enough to wear bows and I know she will look adorable wearing these bows around Halloween! I usually try to get candy I don’t love so if we have anything leftover I don’t eat it all! They also had some awesome accessories like these fun Halloween earrings!

25 nearly new hot wheel cars for the grand nieces and nephews to use at our house – $1 for all. Glass leftover containers 3 for $.75. I don’t like to use plastic bags or throwaway containers for my leftovers – glass seems much cleaner. Brand new board games still in shrink wrap – Cash Flow – $3.

Thank goodness I didn’t get them because now I can grab them for much less and still have Christmas money leftover for more! But then again, I have a little niece that could probably rock them too! I asked for these for Christmas a few weeks ago when they were full price. Choose from gray or black, both are $49 each.

My nieces, my daughter and I sing all the songs, loudly , to the annoyance of my brother and son-in-law. It’s Been a Really Long Week I Have Leftover Halloween Candy… Sometimes there is snoring. The evening is filled by watching White Christmas with Bing Crosby and Danny Kay. My sister-in-law is neutral.

I’d send some to my nieces to help with their college expenses and would donate half to our local food pantry. Now I like that she has some leftover/easier nights sprinkled in as it matches our life more closely. Fancy restaurant food. Give me a slice of Costco pizza and I’m happy.

And I am more conscious of eating leftovers and avoiding food waste. On one of our driving trips, we visited the Shrine of the World Apostolate of Fatima in New Jersey on our way to see a niece at her college. I do want to try growing things in pots, though–like tomatoes and herbs. How has reading the Frugal Girl changed you?
