My sister-in-law buys dozens every Christmas from a mom who bakes for cash. My mom makes and sells Raggedy Ann & Andy dolls. However, there’s always stuff to sell, like outgrown, but good clothing, shoes, toys, household goods, etc. Many stores will at least give you a store credit if you don’t have your receipt.

I stopped by my two favorite thrift stores last week: Salvation Army & Community Aid, a local store. I only go on Wednesdays, because both stores offer an additional 50% off on almost everything. Finally, spring has arrived in central PA, so I carved out some time last Wednesday to hit the thrift stores.

We found the best price for the Gentle Leader Headcollar at Amazon (that is my affiliate link) at around $8 less than the big box pet store. The girls and I hit my favorite thrift store this week. If used shoes creep you out, never fear, just wash them. As usual, I found some great deals. The sneakers cost me $2.50
