When you can reuse or re-purpose an item, you are not only saving it from the landfills, but you are also saving the expense and energy which would have been expended when you recycle. Below is a list of things I (or hubby) have personally saved and reused. Shopping bags are reused as carry alls for gifts and travel needs.
