December 2014 marks the 50 th time the beloved special will air on television. Charles Schulz was a smart guy and he really knew how to make his stories come alive on television! It was unknown at that point, an experiment. My mother’s philosophy was, “Whatever—just have fun.” Sally is the voice of Violet (on the right).
