I had two older siblings, but my sister passed away in a car accident in 2000 and my brother passed away from MS in 2020 so now I’m an only child. Oregon is strong into recycling, reducing, and protecting the land. There is not much convenient recycling. So, I don’t recycle like I did in Oregon and Washington State.

My sister-in-law routinely gives items that she crochets. There are a number items now that are created from recycled materials, as well as other eco-friendly materials. We found a toy car made from recycled materials for my young nephew, and I once received a journal made with recycled paper.

Recycle your wrapping paper. If not, make a point to save that paper this year, so that you can recycle it next December. There are a lot of DIY sites and online videos out there that can teach you how to craft a beautiful scrapbook for your sister of your lives together or fashion a hand-crafted wallet for your dad.

My sister-in-law posts some updates on Instagram, so go follow her ( @treasure_haus ) to stay up to the minute with the abandoned house. (In This planner is $15, it lasts me for a long time, and it’s just paper, which is recyclable. My brother is a very busy guy, so it’s slow going. I refuse to feel guilty about it.)

They are helping families learn to recycle, holding bake sales to support charities, even holding penny drives to build homes for orphaned children in Haiti. They are helping little sisters learn to read & even making sure the new kid at school has a place to sit in the cafeteria.

Follow the eco-friendly route that the website encourages and recycle the magazines when you are finished with them. It is all about knowing where to look.

Eco-friendly Baby bottles are made from materials that can be recycled after use. I gave this set to my brother and sister in law for my baby niece and they have been loving the bottles! Does not leach chemicals to adversely affect the environment. Best of all though is that this set is priced better than most two packs of bottles!!!
