The Frugal Girl

So typically, the only brick-and-mortar store I go to the day after Thanksgiving is a grocery store. Grocery stores are wonderfully empty right after Thanksgiving! We did Thankful Thursday on Thanksgiving, and today we’re doing WIS, WWA on Black Friday. Every day, even Black Friday, is Commit Cat Crimes Day for Chiquita.

I had trouble finding cream from Thanksgiving-Christmas last year. What We Ate Saturday I made French toast with berries and whipped cream… and I was lucky enough to snag the last container of whipped cream at Safeway. Happily, the cream shortage is not as terrible as it was last holiday season though.
