If you’re freezing something like nuts, seeds, or flour, then of course this is not a problem; those things don’t expand much at all when they’re frozen. A lot of off-brand lids are available as well, but since I haven’t tried them, I can’t vouch for how long-lasting they are.

A well seasoned skillet is stick free. They can go from stove top to oven. Some suggested a lye bath or oven cleaner to remove the old gunk. This worked well, but again, my skillets weren’t that rusty. Then, I placed the pan upside down on the middle shelf in a 350 degree oven. Yes, please!
