Sunday This was the day I had the squash soup/homemade crouton combo, in an effort to clean out my freezer. I got a bowl of ramen (with an extra soy-marinated egg, thank you very much) and Zoe got a sushi burrito. Tuesday We had too many leftovers in the fridge (happens in a jiffy with just two people!), so we worked on those.

What We Ate Saturday I ate dinner with a friend, and Zoe had leftover pizza when she got back from work. Tuesday Leftover chicken in a sandwich form for me, ramen for Zoe after her work shift. Thank goodness that costly long-distance phone calls are a thing of the past! Monday I picked up a rotisserie chicken from Safeway.

Couponing 101

Thanks to my Freezer Cooking Week , I have quite a few meals in my freezer right now. I will be planning to eat one or two per week and will be continuing to swap one meal per week with friends. We also purchased a 40 lb case of chicken from Zaycon Foods so we’ll be processing all of that for the freezer this week.

We did Thankful Thursday on Thanksgiving, and today we’re doing WIS, WWA on Black Friday. Monday I had a free frozen pizza from Safeway sitting in my chest freezer, so that’s what we ate! Friday We’ve got leftovers, so that’s probably what we will eat tonight. Rolls > turkey.
