My niece goes to Goodwill and buys what I can only describe as bags of junk, and she makes a full-time income selling it on eBay. If I wanted to save money quickly, I could probably get that down to about $300 by focusing on cheap meals. Remember that money saved is money earned! Make it yourself.

If there is money left in your budget at the end of the pay period, move it to savings as well. I know a lot of people move this money into a separate vacation or fun money savings account. In my book, rebate checks equal easy savings. That is money that you have already spent.
