The email was adamant that pumps were overcharging for gasoline because the total amount didn’t really match up to the price times the number of gallons. My Gasoline Ripoff Non-Scientific Test. Here were my results: Price Per Gal. Total Price. Actual Price. Difference. 0.049440. -$0.022360.

It would provide links to information that outlined the differences in next year’s plan options, as well as the cost. Surprisingly, the details of the plan were almost identical to this year’s plan except for the price. Gasoline : We currently budget $75 a week for gasoline which translates to a tank of gas for our van.

She envisioned me running out of gasoline and not being able to get home. As an adult, I use both cash and credit as well as checks. Occasionally merchants will discount the price because they don’t have to pay the credit card fees on your purchase. At the time, I didn’t have credit cards so it was a valid concern.

the prices and all are not always fun. Fill Up Middle of the Week: most of the time, gas prices are at the highest on the weekends (not always but it is a common fact). Although I filled it up today, Thursday and I did not see a price difference from Saturday up until today. So stop on a Wed to fill up gas.

You don’t need extra equipment or “stuff” in your car that just weighs it down, and ultimately burns more gasoline.
