If you have a chest freezer or other non-defrosting freezer, homemade bread can stay fresh for several months in its frozen state. A couple of thoughts that might explain the steadiness of my spending: The price of groceries has gone up in recent years I was definitely able to get more bang for my buck years ago as compared to now.
