I don’t know about your house, buy my kids are bombarded with candy at this time of year and I wanted to serve a treat that was fun, but not sugary junk food. Peel mandarin oranges or clementines and use a small green candy or a small piece of celery for the stem.

I stopped adding sugar years ago and now prefer adding my homemade herb-flavored simple syrup to each individual glass. As I said, I love my iced tea with herbal simple syrup. It’s easy to make, read my post, How to Make Simple Syrup. It is so much better this way. I also use the syrup in adult beverages.
