In 2013, The Christmas Savings Club encouraged all of us to save monthly so that we could have a cash Christmas. In 2015, the monthly challenge will be Choose Thrift First. While I love thrift stores, I can be easily swayed to run into Target or Kohl’s when I’m in that part of town.

Our Big Financial Goal for 2016

It has been my obsession goal since we found ourselves in a dicey situation back in August 2013. Between 2013 – 2015, we whittled that down and as of today we have just two loans left. Finally, we are able to see the light at the end of the tunnel and are more motivated than ever to pay off these final two loans.

I’m curious to see how much we can save and also how creative we can get by making do with what we already own or looking for things at a thrift store.
