Instead I’m writing about my family’s experience with traditional health insurance and how it has affected OUR finances. In 2004 when we were researching policies, we weren’t parents yet, but fully intended on having children. After much thought, we decided on the cheaper plan and subscribed to an Aetna HMO for 2016.
