I think I started reading FG regularly in 2018 or 2019. As a teenager, I saved quite a bit of the money I earned babysitting and working in a dining hall. I liked seeing money accumulate and grow, and that has continued into adulthood! This especially was very important to my husband growing up. homemade bagels!

Did you make 2018 financial goals ? Our 2 Main Financial Goals for 2018: 1 – Finish the will. 2 – Save $10k in a savings account, specifically earmarked for medical expenses. We’d like to start saving for it in 2018, if possible. If not, we’ll start saving in 2019.

After 20 years, I switched from Quicken software to You Need a Budget (YNAB) software in 2018 for our household. There’s a yearly fee and a learning curve, but I love YNAB and it helps me stay on budget and financially organized with our day-to-day checking and savings accounts. Pay our bills in a timely manner.
