2018 Update. We never stopped taking vacations, but our trips were mostly camping in our pop-up or renting a beach house with other families. A lot of life happened over 7 years and our plan changed slightly, but our goal remains to achieve complete freedom from debt. 1st Update in June 2014. 2016 & 2017 Update.

At the time we were renting an office space in a strip mall, but when we discovered a foreclosure in our town that seemed like a great idea on paper, we jumped at the chance. The student loan should be paid off by the end of 2018. Projected pay off date December 2018. So what does this mean? We bought our home in 2001.
