Here are some ways you can mess it up when making beneficiary designations. All of your estate planning needs to head in the same direction and should be reviewed in whole to insure that the distributions you intend to make are actually clear in the documents. You make your estate your beneficiary. The IRA goes to the ex-spouse.

We are both naturally frugal and a bit introverted which makes it easier to save money. A couple years ago, my two teenage boys were no longer excited about making and decorating Christmas cookies. We can get free apples from my mom and uncle and we make it into applesauce – usually 60-80 jars. I work out 4-5 days a week.

These surveys show quite clearly that a huge section of the working population is not making any contribution towards their retirement funding. First, you’ve got to make a commitment to set aside a small amount from every pay check to fund your retirement. Look at the difference the 10 years makes!
