For 20 or so years I’ve been homeschooling my kids, and am now down to about 1 1/2 (one full-time homeschooler, and one doing College Credit Plus with some support). We also want to get our kids through college without them having loans to pay back, and we are 1 out of 4 on that so far! What’s one thing you splurge on?

You get to enjoy all the cute moments and hand back the kid when they stink or act out! My own grandparents (members of the so called ‘silent generation’ who lived through WWI, WWII and the depression) rarely interacted with the grand kids. My parents were somewhat more interactive with their grandchildren (my kids).

My grandmother was originally from NY and my grandparents took several trips across country throughout the years. So much has changed (marriages, new homes, kids, jobs, etc), but we immediately slipped back into our close friendship. and filled with attractions and activities for kids to enjoy.
